I&#8217;ve had this dream of running big ass one-ton Ford axles under my lil ol&#8217; Jeep.\u00a0 So a few years ago I found the EXACT 1979 Ford f250 Snow Plow edition truck I had been looking for.\u00a0 These are the holy grail of axles to Jeepers and all I had to do was drive up near Chicago to get the truck..so I did!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Flash forward to this weekend&#8230;6 yrs after I had made the decision to go full size and use big axles&#8230;I got offered cash for the axles as they sat near my best friends shop for the past 2 years doing nothing&#8230;..what to do&#8230;what to do.\u00a0 I sold em. \ud83d\ude41\u00a0 Yep &#8211; my dreams and aspirations of greatness with big ass redneck hillbilly tires and all&#8230;all of it down the drain!\u00a0 haha<\/p>\n<p>Well, it&#8217;s not all bad really.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve really come to love my Jeep without the big ol hyped up axles and I&#8217;ve also come to the conclusion that driving a Jeep isn&#8217;t all it&#8217;s cracked up to be.\u00a0 I&#8217;m tired of it being my daily driver &#8211; with 35&#8243; tires and big ass lift and such &#8211; it gets MAYBE 11mpg.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Jeep Stretched\" src=\"http:\/\/www.secadmin.info\/albums\/okc09\/DSCN3182.sized.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Last year my Jeep<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Today gas is costing damn near $4\/gallon and a full tank only gets me about 180 miles but costs me $60-75 a week just for work.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve actually parked the big beast and have been riding the Vespa..affectionately known as the pansy (baby blue in color).\u00a0 The Vespa costs me about $5-7 a week or 2 and is making a lot more sense right about now!<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Tulsa Toys\" src=\"http:\/\/www.secadmin.info\/albums\/scooters\/IMG_1145.sized.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"478\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tulsa Toys (Vespa p200e, 1964 Lambretta LI190, 1972 Lambretta GP200)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>But good gas mileage aside &#8211; I&#8217;m going miss my dream of having a big bad ass Jeep.\u00a0 I think it&#8217;s time to trade her in for something more economical and or sporty small fun.\u00a0 Live out my midlife crisis a lil in a sports coupe<\/p>\n<p>Really want a mini Cooper Clubman S:<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 438px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Clubman\" src=\"http:\/\/www.minicooperpic.com\/minicooper\/car\/pictures\/2010\/03\/mini-cooper-clubman-s-by-ac-schnitzer-185271.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"428\" height=\"288\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mini clubman S - current desire!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>and maybe stick to some ATV  fun on quads to get my outdoor\/offroad fill.\u00a0 Maybe someday when I grow  up I can come back to Jeeps and do those again in a different capacity.\u00a0  At least that&#8217;s what I keep telling myself.\u00a0 I figure if I write about  it here&#8230;.I have a better chance at making it all come true!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So ever since I got into offroading &#8211;
