So I changed up hosting and this is a temp check.
Why the 2nd amendment is important:
We migrated to the United States to escape oppressive totalitarian government.
The concept behind the United States is that the centralized federal government has limited power over the people (as opposed to the dictatorships from which we came)
The Second Amendment states that in order to maintain a free state, the people must retain the right to keep and bear arms. The presence of armed citizens is what keeps the government “honest”. No government would be foolish enough to impose a dictatorship on people who have the ability to resist.
The Second Amendment does not grant us this right. This right already existed. The Second Amendment merely prevents the government from infringing on it.
Forgot I left y’all in suspense. Had the surgery on Wednesday (Saturday midnight as I’m typing). It was quite interesting for my first! I gotta admit, I got a bit scared for a lil bit. Last thing I remember was rolling into the surgery room and moving onto the table. Someone said, sure is bright in here isnt it? And I said yes then I was out. Woke up stiff and sore 2-3 hours later to my wife telling me that all was well and the tumors were benign and I was going to be just fine. So here’s a pic of the scar and progress. More to come after I get some sleep. Continue reading
(Quick summary for those like me that don’t like to read – Found a lump below my adams apple, could be nothing, or something. Surgery coming soon to find out)
So, about a month ago (probably around the 15th of July) I was just minding my own business and stretching when I noticed it. I was leaning back in my chair at work..head tilted all the way back, almost upside down..and there…odd. I felt what appeared to be a second adams apple under my real adams apple? What the.., I thought to myself. So I got up and went to the bathroom..saw nothing…leaned my head back a little and swallowed and THERE…is that normal? So I began checking everyone else out and realized it was just me. This got me a little nervous. With recent events of Continue reading
This is a guide for decoding VIN numbers on vintage Vespa scooters. If you are not sure how this works, find the VIN on the frame of your scooter. It is most likely on the frame under the engine side cowl. Let’s say that the VIN reads VLB1T109500. You can see that a VLB1T is a 150 Sprint and the numbers tell you it is a 1970.

Well – Looks like Lisa and myself finally made it through another year of our birthdays (mine 12/20 and hers 12/28) and Christmas. It has been a really good past couple of weeks with only a few set backs. Biggest set back is not getting to see my son (yeah, his mom is a real winner here..again.). I’ve been talking to him a lot and so it’s not a total loss…he even remembered me on my birthday!!
We’ve been trying to come up with ideas for New Years and it’s just that…we’re freakin old. ha. Oh well, I’m sure something will turn up – only a couple days away. Can you believe it’s December 29th and it’s like 65 degree’s outside!? SOOO nice…so nice that I’m going to wrap this short and go outside and work on the house and in the garage a little.
Thanks to all family and friends that made 2011 what it is and was and I’m looking forward to a new year with new challenges. Love y’all!
So yeah – I suck at this – I hate blogs. I have so much to say, but under legal issues, I can’t say 98% of the shit I want too. Someday the statute of limitations will run out and I will be a blogging fool again.
Peace out!
Wow – it’s finally that time eh? My son just turned 16 today! I really don’t have any giant words of wisdom and a huge story line to follow – I just wanted to put it out there on the internet that he’s 16 today.
Driving – eh…he’ll get around to it. I’ve let him drive the Jeep offroad a few times and he has the basic concepts. Mostly he screwed himself in school being the class clown and dropping his grades and such which pretty much set back all of ‘life’ in general. Would really love to see him driving today, but according to his mom…that could be 2012. 🙁
