Just thought I’d drop a quick note to let everyone know I’m still alive and kickin!
Been a very busy couple of months lately and when I get time to breath, I spend it sleeping if at all possible! haha Mostly been out riding the scoots – working on the house – School is out for the summer so I have my mini-me hanging out for awhile. Just been non-stop at work too. But all in all things are good. Thinking I might ditch the Jeep again…an attempt to get something small sporty and fuel efficient. Downside is “I LOVE MY JEEP” so it’s going to be very hard to part with my most favorite ride of all times. I just don’t offroad like I use too and my long weekend drives and various travels is just not practical in a lifted Jeep running 35″ tires!! lol Looks cool, sounds cool and IS cool…but at 12mpg, it SUCKS! Someone else can have fun with it now.
Anyhow – I’ll have some more updates on what the future holds – Defcon is coming up the first weekend of August!! So I will be heading to Vegas to take care of a lil hackin’ training. Trying to come up with a date to get to Cali to see good friends and pick up my Lambretta at DeanSpeed. My son turns 16 on August 2nd and it’s just killing me….wow, he’s so grown up it’s not even funny. Step daughter turns in at 24 end of July too…sheesh, the accomplishments right? haha

So ever since I got into offroading – I’ve had this dream of running big ass one-ton Ford axles under my lil ol’ Jeep. So a few years ago I found the EXACT 1979 Ford f250 Snow Plow edition truck I had been looking for. These are the holy grail of axles to Jeepers and all I had to do was drive up near Chicago to get the truck..so I did!

The White House has stated that these photos will not be released, so users should be aware that these claims are false and could lead to malware infection.

HOLY MOLY!! I can’t tell you how much fun we had. We can’t even remember all of the fun we had lol…I felt like I was in college again! WOOHOO!!
Lisa and I wanted to thank EVERYONE that came out. Our friends from work – California, Atlanta, OKC…everywhere – It was FREAKIN AWESOME!! We can’t think of a better time. We still have a TON of stuff left over…Keg of Shiner Blond sitting on my porch, anyone wanna help kill it just give me a call! haha Cases of beer – Tons of liquor and enough sweets to kill about 50 Diabetics in 3 mins flat!! We all put a HUGE dent in the most amazing BBQ…We TOTALLY want to shout out to Kate and Henry Scott for the best BBQ in the state hands down! You guys rocked it!! Also Cindy Dickson, our bartender …OMG SHE ROCKED IT TOO!! I was so impressed with her and she was a HUGE help all the way to the end. And last but CERTAINLY not least – ALL you guys that showed up – and All the freaks that helped us tear down and pack up the trailer!! haha – I was shocked – Literally I felt like I was in a video game watching everyone run around and work together to have that place torn down so quick. SIMPLY amazing!

So today I had a flat to fix on the vespa. Apparently I ran over 3 very small needle bearings like you would find in a ujoint cap. So I dropped a floor jack under the back fender and got to work. Actually found it much easier to lay the vespa on the motor side in the grass, but I had just filled the tank full of gas and figured that was a bad idea. Remove the Continue reading
Well – I don’t know if I can say that it’s spring yet. What I do know is I need to mow my back yard! Ugh! I hate mowing. It is my goal in life to buy a riding lawn mower with a can holder for my beer.
Some of the tree’s are blooming – I see some strange green stuff out front that might be grass – The birds are going nuts outside my window. Well – either way, I’ve changed the banner from the cold winter looking one to the green and blooming tree. Maybe it will help with the mood. It’s time for some warm…it’s time for some scooter riding..it’s time to smile with the sun on my face, wind in my ..well, I have a lil hair…and all that jazz.
